At our church service, Pastor Jack spoke about what God’s intervention into history caused Mary to feel. A young 16 year old girl already married (betrothed) to Joseph who was probably around 19. She was in love and so looking forward to joining with her husband, the marriage feast, the celebration, the plans…
But this visit from Gabriel really changed all of that. She was going to be pregnant and hadn’t been joined yet with her husband. God was going to cause Messiah to grow inside her. Can you imagine? That’s something to think about. How would you handle it? Would you believe it? Would you need some credentials from Gabriel? Would you be afraid? Would you rebel?
Mary submitted. Mary obeyed. Mary was blessed by God.
Also, I read an article that indicated that the Supreme Court has a lot of problems with our president. They have been receiving much information about him, his social security number and other items that might put doubt on his eligibility to be president. There was much to look at with his administration and it might be interesting to see what they do in the future. It’s a Redwhiteandblue.com article. Very interesting. We were hoping one of the legs of power of our federal government might do something about the unconstitutional actions that have been taken. And this might be it. Let’s pray it is. Or at least that the Court will stand for our rights and our Constitution.
Pray you all have a wonderful evening! Be blessed by our Lord! ♡♡♡
“You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.”
