Viet Nam used to be a mission field for my church. Then when the communists took over, Christians were no longer allowed to witness. But there is a wonderful body of Christ in Viet Nam today. She survives! The Church in Viet Nam survives! God is good! But Bibles are scarce, very scarce.
In China earlier this year, Bibles were distributed to Chinese Christians. Bibles are also scarce in China.
In our country we don’t realize how fortunate we are. Most of us have many Bibles, many different translations that should lead to huge understanding of God’s Words. But these people didn’t have and did receive Bibles for the first time.
Lord, help me remember my first love such as these.
That was so very beautiful, my tears are tears of shame! We are so spoiled. They joyously grabbed for the Word of God, kissing it and crying in appreciation of His Holy Word!!! OMGOSH, one does not need to know the language to hear our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ giving praise and honor to our Lord God. PRAISE JESUS! May God forgive those of us (me) who take His Holy Word for granted each and every day…

It’s touching. And it hits home. Hallelujah! The Bible talks about praying with our requsts, intercessions and thanksgiving. I was told that we should identify something to be thankful for every day. I know it sounds trite but the Bible says so! 1 Timothy 2:1
Thanks for your comment! It is encouraging!
