It’s been a discombobulated week

I am so behind!

I have not been well this week (I think it may have been diverticulitis-I’ve had the same symptoms before). But, praise God! I am feeling lots better. Sitting up and taking nourishment! Well, I’m better than that. This farm household doesn’t run well without me.

But I’ve had more time to think this week. And sleep. Must have needed it.

Had some help from hubby so I could rest.

Aren’t our bodies amazing? Our living bodies are powerful engines that keep going, readjusting, transforming, readjusting again. And when we’re sick, there are mechanisms in our bodies to bring us back to our highest most optimum state of health we can achieve.

Did you ever see a rock heal itself?

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
(Psalms 139:14 NIV)

  1. We are indeed created in the image of God and No matter what science tries to do they cannot replicate the humanbody. And the only reason science tries is so they can “disprove” God’s creation and even more so discredit Jesus as the Son of God. I’m glad you’re feeling better . God bless you and your family ma’am

I began nursing education at 17. I was amazed as I learned how the human body works. With no outside help it keeps itself healthy. Some healthcare providers are a bit too arrogant. In medicine, we can supplement what the body itself does to heal itself. But, without that healing process that goes on in the body innately, no amount of health care would mean anything!
      God’s creation humbles me.

      • I think an over dependence on modern “medicines” has actually created a weakness in the human body. I don’t discredit doctors or medicine because I know they save lives. We just, as a family, tend to try a more healthy approach as much as possible. You are correct, God gave our bodies amazing systems designed to fight and destroy sickness.

Glad you’re feeling better! Thanks for the reminder that our bodies are indeed amazing and we have only scratched the surface as to how they work!

It’s humbling to watch the human body mend itself and adjust to new challenges. It always adjusts. And it’s true! All we must do is provide the right fuel, movement and mental attitude to be well.
Thanks for reading here Cosmoscon. Always appreciate your visit.
