This is a post written by Judson Phillips this morning. MSNBC host, Martin Bashir used the most vulgar words against Sarah Palin after she compared our national debt to slavery. I can’t even type what he said. It’s in the post.
Comcast owns MSNBC. Could you write a polite letter to Brian Roberts, CEO of Comcast? As Mr. Phillips said, you can tell him that the attacks on Sarah Palin, a mother and grandmother by Martin Bashir on MSNBC are in no way appropriate and Comcast needs to act like a responsible corporate citizen in this matter.
I’ll be writing to him too.
Here’s the address: (paper letters are so much more tangible!)
Brian Roberts, CEO, Comcast
1701 John F Kennedy Blvd
Philadelphia, PA 19103-2838.
Thanking you all in advance!
Here, now is the post by Judson Phillips:
Sarah Palin has been a lightning rod for attacks from the left since she became the Republican Vice Presidential nominee in 2008. Her association with the Tea Party movement has only driven the insane left wing further off the deep end.
Liberalism really is a mental illness and Palin usually manages to send liberals into a mouth frothing rage.
Now one liberal has said something really disgusting. Who is it? What did they say? More importantly, what should conservatives do about it?
If you want to see a race to the bottom, you need go no further than MSNBC. It seems that the prime requirement for being a host at MSNBC, other than having a pathological hatred for America and real Americans, is to have an IQ that floats lower than the room temperature of an igloo.
Martin Bashir is fairly typical of an MSNBC host and he currently leads their race to the bottom. Sarah Palin recently compared our national debt to slavery. In response, Bashir said that someone should defecate and urinate on Palin’s face and in her mouth because of what she said. Bashir said it much more crudely and graphically.
This is what passes for dialogue from the left these days.
But then again, the left has never been a big supporter of the concept of the free exchange and debate of ideas. Liberalism cannot survive competition because most people want to be free and liberalism is the antithesis of freedom and liberty.
This is why liberals shout down speakers they don’t like, as New York Police Commission Ray Kelly recently found out at Brown University.
This is why liberals are always trying to shut down Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and any other effective talk radio host.
Ordinarily I’m a big believer in just letting the market place sort things out. But sometimes people cross a line and more direct action needs to be taken. MSNBC is owned by NBCUniversal, which is in turn owned by Comcast.
The CEO of Comcast is a guy named Brian Roberts.
His address is 1701 John F Kennedy Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19103-2838.
Comcast is not simply going to drop MSNBC from its programming because it owns MSNBC. However, modern CEOs are taught in business school to avoid controversy at all costs.
If conservatives start deluging Comcast with letters expressing our outrage over what Martin Bashir has said, this will cause change.
Take a moment to write a polite letter to the Brian Roberts at Comcast and tell him that kind of verbal attack on a woman who is a mother and a grandmother is not appropriate and that Comcast needs to act like a responsible corporate citizen.
Take another moment and share this blog with your friends and ask them to do the same.
If they hear from enough of us, they will change.
